خلاصه داستان : جايي در دنياي گسترده‌ي اينترنت، وب‌سايتي معروف به "جيگوکو سوشين" (Jigoku Tsushin) وجود دارد که تنها راس نيمه شب قابل دسترسي‌ست. شايع شده که اگر در آن وب‌سايت از کسي که نسبت به او کينه داريد، نام ببريد، آن‌وقت جيگوکو شوجو (Jigoku Shoujo) ظاهر شده و هر کسي که باعث عذاب شماست را به دوزخ مي‌کشد. اطلاعات خيلي کمي درباره اين دختر در دست است. تنها مورد مشخص اين است که او به همراه مادربزرگي که به به اندازه‌ي خودش عجيب و غريب است، زندگي مي‌کند، سه عروسک کاهي جادويي به همراه دارد و هر زمان پستي در وب‌سايت مذکور ارسال مي‌شود، او تبديل به جيگوکو شوجو شده و کار خود را آغاز مي‌نمايد.
