خلاصه داستان :

A rich, young beauty, Louise Durant, follows the man she loves and hopes to marry to Zurich where he studies violin at the conservatory. A piano student at the conservatory falls madly in love with Louise. The violinist loves his music first and Louise second. The pianist loves Louise first and his music second. Louise must ultimately choose which man she wants.

In one such establishment works a middle-aged waiter who is devoted to serving his bourgeoisie clients correctly. However, his life outside his job is very different: His son was killed during the Russian civil war and the waiter's wife died of grief as a result....

خلاصه داستان : وقتی دکتر آنتونی ادواردز (گرگوری پک) به بیمارستان روانی ورمونت می آید تا جایگزین مدیر بیمارستان در حال خروج شود ، دکتر کنستانس پترسون (اینگرید برگمن) ، روانکاو ، در می یابد که ادواردز در واقع یک فریبکار است. این مرد اعتراف می کند که دکتر ادواردز واقعی مرده است و می ترسد که او به این بیماری مبتلا شود

When Dr. Anthony Edwardes arrives at a Vermont mental hospital to replace the outgoing hospital director, Dr. Constance Peterson, a psychoanalyst, discovers Edwardes is actually an impostor. The man confesses that the real Dr. Edwardes is dead and fears he may have killed him, but cannot recall anything. Dr. Peterson, however is convinced his impostor is innocent of the man's murder, and joins him on a quest to unravel his amnesia through psychoanalysis.
