خلاصه داستان : فیلم در اواسط قرن هجدهم جریان دارد جایی که پادشاه دانمارک، فردریک پنجم اعلام کرد که یوتلند غربی کهیک سرزمین جنگلی بود باید رام، کشت و استعمار شود تا قابل سکونت باشد. هیچ کس جرات اجرای فرمان پادشاه را نداشت. چون به دلیل حضور گرگ ها و حیوانات وحشی رفتن به انجا برابر با مرگ بود، سرانجام، در سال 1755، یک سرباز به نام لودویگ فون کالن دست به کار میشود و آنجا را به خاک و خون میکشد.
