خلاصه داستان : یک جابجایی زمین ساختی در اعماق درازگودال ماریانا باعث یک سری زمین لرزه های فزاینده می شود. اگر تیمی از زلزله شناسان برجسته نتوانند جلوی فاجعه را بگیرند، این رویدادها زمین را متلاشی کرده و میلیاردها تلفات را در پی خواهد داشت.
