خلاصه داستان : سده 0088 جهانی ست. بلافاصله بعد از پایان جنگ گریپس، هامان کرن و ارتش باقیمونده های زئون، روی محور سیارکها تلاششون رو برای احیای امپراتوری از دست رفته زابی شروع میکنن و خودشون رو به عنوان نئو-زئون (زئون جدید) اعلام میکنند. فدراسیون زمین مثل همیشه بیچاره ست و فقط اتحادیه ضد زمین، گروه (AEUG) توانایی مقابله با نقشه های نئو-زئون رو داره. بعد از تلفاتی که در جنگ قبلی دادن و از دست دادن خیلی از اعضای اصلیشون، الان به هر کمکی نیاز دارن. در همین راستا کشتی آرگاما AEUG از یه جوون به اسم جودا اَشت نام نویسی میکنن که از ساید شماره 1 مستعمره ی شانگری-لا، آورده شده تا خلبان mobile suit جدید، the Double Zeta Gundam باشه.

The year is Universal Century 0088. Directly after the end of the Gryps War, Haman Karn and her army of Zeon remnants on the asteroid Axis begin their quest of reviving the lost empire of the Zabi's, and proclaim themselves as the Neo-Zeon. With the Earth Federation as hapless as ever, only the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) is able oppose the plans of Neo-Zeon. In need of all the help it can get after being decimated in the previous war and losing many of its key members, the AEUG ship Argama enlists the aid of a young junk collector from the Side 1 colony of Shangri-La named Judau Ashta to pilot its newest mobile suit, the ZZ Gundam.

Chinese Kingpin Chin Chin Chu is after a dragon figurine that's a key to creating an alloy said to be greater than Goemon's Zantatsu Sword. The dragon figurine is located in the depths of the Titanic. Lupin, Jigen, and Fujiko were offered by Chin to steal it for him, but Lupin refuses the offer, and gets it himself, as his grandfather, Arsene Lupin the 1st tried to steal it before the Titanic sunk. Goemon accompanied by his childhood friend Kikyo, team up to maintain the Iga Clan honor that the dragon won't fall into the use of evil.

Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. However, when criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorites send the legendary detective L to track down the killer, and a battle of wits, deception and logic ensues...this was aired on Japanese tv shortly after the death note anime was completed, this special basically re-cuts the first 26 episodes of the series into a two hour movie with some new scenes and dialogue added and the story is seen from ryuk's viewpoint.

In Europe, it was broadcast on the television networks Telecinco, RTL Television, Kika, Italia 1, TV3 and Fox Kids, Yleisradio and TVP 2. It also aired in numerous other countries, such as Israel, Brazil, Mexico and the Philippines.
